Gold exploration project, detailed geochemical exploration of gold anomaly Arghsh No. 6, "south Neyshabur
The study area is located 1.5 Km away from the SE of Cheshmezard-e Arghash. The anomaly zone is 3 Km2 wide. In the Arghash anomaly no 6, totally 526 soil samples were taken from the B and C layers of soil. Each sampling site is 2000 m2 that sampled by 8 samples from four corners and four mid-sides. Considering the geochemical data and 1:5000 geology map, Au grade in all soil samples are more than stream sediment samples; average Au grade in soil samples is 25 ppb that is about seven times more than the Au grade of stream sediment samples (2.28 ppb). Maximum gold grade of this zone is 800 ppb. Au, As, Sb, and Bi show logarithmic distribution, but Hg has normal distribution. Trachy-andesite, and quartz-trachy andesite in the NW of the area have higher potential for mineralization. Mineralization is vein-type formed in the last stage of hydrothermal activity. The entire anomalous zone is suitable for gold exploration. this anomaly requires exploration program.
