Technical-Economical Studies of the Jajarm bauxite deposit: Volume V
Reserve Assessment Report of Golbini I and VI mines
Mineral reserve assessment of Golbini II, III, IV, VII and VIII mines and the Zoo mine were reported in the report volume IV of Technical-Economical Studies of the Jajarm bauxite deposit. The current volume presents the result of this study for Golbini I and VI mines. This report consists of three chapters.
In the first chapter, reserve calculation was done by several methods including sections, inverse distance squared and kriging. The block map and the details of the relevant calculations is in Appendix 1. Reserve calculation for the Golbini I mine was done by extensive drilling network and inverse distance squared and kriging methods.
In the Chapter II, the reserve of Golbini VI mine was calculated using sectioning method in the layered portion and inverse distance squared method in the lenticular portion. Statistical calculations and plotting of vertical and horizontal variograms are included in this chapter.
In the chapter three, the total reserve calculation of the Jajarm mine is presented. Based on our study, the total reserve of mine is 20.87 million of tons hard bauxite with cut-off grades 40% AI2O3 and 15% SiO2. Also there is 12.74 million of tons bauxite with the grade between 15-40%. In addition, this chapter includes a comprehensive dissection regarding the estimation error of blocks and total metal content.
