Reserves and resources
The Suzdal mine has remaining oxide resources which are estimated, by Celtic and Alel geological staff, to contain over 1.5 million ozs of gold.
The mineís sulphide resources are currently classified under Russian Category C2, which is equivalent to the JORC standard, Inferred Mineral Resources. Total sulphide resources are estimated at 1.45 million oz of gold.
Oxide: C1+C2 1.285 million tonnes at 1.12g/t Au containing 46,000 ounces.
Sulphide: C1+C2 4.359 million tonnes at 9.69g/t Au containing 1.36 Moz.
In addition, diamond drilling on orebody No.3 in December 2001 intersected some very high grade zones that indicate further potential at depth.
