Second intrusions are porphyry dykes which are distinguishable by their less fractures and alteration. These rocks cut quartz veins and their pyrite content is higher than chalcopyrite. Third type of rocks is diorite porphyry that extent as N-S trending dykes under the propylitic hallows. These dykes have coarser phenocrysts than other parts.
Some basic dykes with olivine-hornblende basalt composition were intruded in mineral rocks after hydrothermal activities and have no relation to porphyry mineralization. Geochronology of copper mineralized body of Meydouk using K/Ar method shows that against the Yugoslavians (1971) idea about Pliocene mineralization of deposit, Meydouk mineralization is middle to upper Miocene in age, very close to the age of Sarcheshmeh Mine. Mineralization of Sara is younger than these two.
