Zavvareh, located in Isfahan, is at longitude 52° 30' - 53° E and latitude 33° N.
Exposed rock units in the region include: Upper Cretaceous coloured mélange rocks (Naeen Ophiolite Complex), such as amphibolites, ultramafic rocks, rodingites, basaltic and pillow lavas, radiolarites, diabases and spilites, pelagic limestones; Paleocene sandstones and sandy limestones; Eocene geological units like conglomerates, sandstones, clastic deposits, andesite lavas, tuff breccias, and diabases; Oligocene rock units such as andesites, basalts; Oligocene- Miocene rock units like sandstones, limestones and upper red unit; Pliocene rock units such as tuff and pyroclastic unit, dacite lava unit and marl unit; Quaternary geological units like basalts, alluvium, young terraces and alluvial fan deposits, and eolian sand unit. The composition of intrusive bodies ranges between diorite to dacite shallow bodies to riodacite. In this sheet, 3 zones are distinguishable: ophiolitic and tectonic melange, volcanic activities, and Daq-e-Sorkh sedimentary basin and faults trending northwest- southeast.
782 geochemical samples were collected and used for analyzing 45 elements.
To study the results of data analysis and processing, these activities were done: separation of rock groups, study on the clarkes of exposed rocks in the region, sensor data processing, cluster analysis based on phase logic, heterogeneity analysis, network estimation, monovariate and multivariate analysis, and preparation of preliminary anomaly map and distribution map of enrichment index.
Based on analysis results, anomalies were determined. Some of the first order anomalies are: Au (5 anomalies: 5 km of eastern and 10 km of southeastern Mehrandu, 2 km of western and 8 km of eastern Mishab, 10 km of northwestern Mozd Abad-e-Bala, 4 km of southwestern Mazra'e Pashmi, 7 km of western Ali Abad, and 15 km of eastern Iran Shekan), Ag (2 anomalies: 1 km of western and 5 km of northeastern Mishab, 1 km of southern Panj village, and 7 km of northeastern Mehr Abad), Sb (8 anomalies: 8 km of southwestern Mehranduh, 4 km of northwestern and 10 km of western Mazra'e Pashmi, 10 km of southeastern Kahyaz, 5 km of western Sadegh Abad, 2 km of southwestern Darreh Baq, 7 km of western lower Sianak, and 6 km of eastern Mozd Abad-e-Bala), Tl (2 anomalies: 8 km of northern and 12 km of southwestern Shahrab, and 14 km of eastern Mehranduh), Hg (1 anomaly), Te (7 anomalies: 6 km of northeastern Mishab, 18 km of northeastern and 10 km of southeastern Shahrab, 2 km of southern and 3 km of southwestern Ali Abad, 4 km of western Shir Kuh, and 8 km of northern Darreh Baq), Mo (1 anomaly: 5 and 10 km of northeastern Iran Shekan, 5 km of eastern Golshekanan, 1 km of southern Darreh Baq, and 10 km of northern Mozd Abad), Cu (7 anomalies: 5 km of western Shir Kuh, 4 km of western Ali Abad, 4 km of southern and 7 km of northeastern Mehranduh, and 10 km of northeastern Mozd Abad), Pb (10 anomalies: 3 km of eastern Ali Abad, 4 km of western Chenar, 5 km of eastern Golshekanan, 12 km of southern and 9 km of southeastern Mehranduh, 5 km of northern Mozd Abad, and 4 km of northeastern Mishab), Zn (8 anomalies: 8 km of southern Sefideh, 7 km of southwestern Mazra'e Pashmi, 2 km of southern Tourzan, 5 km of northeastern
