The study area is located 64 away from southwest of Bazman; with coordination 59 50E and 27 40N. Giaban andalusite deposit has occurred within andalusite schist derived from metamorphism of Sardar sedimentary rocks. Intrusive rocks cut the meta-sediments. For the exploration of the deposit, 24 boreholes were drilled. 146 samples taken from cores were analyzed. After analyzing samples using XRD and microscope, the result shows that variation of Al2O3 content has direct relation with andalusite. Maximum anomalies are situated in northeast and center of deposit.
