In 1000 BC, Markazi Province, one of Maad Dynasty states, included all western and central Iran. Markazi is an old residential area in Iran plateau. Almost 19 percent of its lands are arable, 57 percent are pastures and the remains are covered by lakes, deserts, roads and cities. Markazi Province has valuable natural, historical and architectural attractions, for example the most beautiful and exotic flower gardens of Iran are found here. Aslo, many tribes and nomads of Iran live here, such as Shahsavan, Kolbeh Kuyi, Khorasani, Kalhor, Khalaj, etc. Most of them have maintained the traditional culture of summer and winter residence. Nomads' cultural attractions are numerous and interesting.
